Milan is the capital of furniture and design culture
Everything is ready for the 56th edition of the Salone del Mobile, which confirms its role as a showcase of excellent quality and innovation in the sector, and an international appointment for professionals and enthusiasts. Capable of attracting, with its complete and ample offer of products – from furniture to lighting, to work environments – more than 300,000 visitors from more than 165 countries.
With more than 200,000 m2 of exhibition surface area and more than 2,000 exhibitors (30% foreign companies), the Salone del Mobile – at fieramilano-Rho from 4 to 9 April – thus confirms its position as such an important resource for the Italian system thanks to its ability to attract operators, visitors, designers, buyers, and journalists from all over the world to Milan, a distinctive sign that, over the years, it has led Milan to become the capital of furniture and design culture, partly thanks to the strong synergy with the city and its institutions.
Five events will be held simultaneously in the pavilions in Rho. In complete synergy with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, in fact, there will be the biannual Euroluce, dedicated to the best the lighting market has to offer (from decorative products to lighting engineering), and Workplace 3.0, dedicated to the work environment, in addition to the Salone del Complemento d’Arredo. Not to be missed is the appointment with Salone Satellite (at its 20th edition), a meeting place between young people selected from the 5 continents, which this year involves 650 designers. The theme of this edition “DESIGN is…?”: an open question, current and crucial.
