Black and white memories at Spazio Forma

The works by Ferdinanado Scianna on display at Spazio Forma (until July 30Th), a selection of more than 50 black and white landscapes, a narrative in images that encompasses the whole world including Scianna’s native Sicily, the Ivory coast, the Val Padana, South America, Europe and Russia.

After many years, this sicilian photographer who marked a turning point in photography comes back to Milan. Behind the camera lens since over fifty years, he was the first italian to join the magnum photojournalism agency. Scianna brings us into his world made of black and white memories, taking us through a journey of over 50 photographs dedicated to landscape.
A selection ranging from his beloved and always there sicily to the heart of europe, South America and Africa. An album of memories, a passionate romance with the landscape which has accompanied the artist since his early works.

In addition to the photo exhibition, there is a room dedicated to the author’s books: some of them have never been published.
