The secret of Nature

From June 27th to September 9th, the exhibition Alik Cavaliere The secret of Nature bring to Palazzo Reale in Milan a prospective on the univers of nature. The exhibition reconstructs the artist’s career .

Alik Cavaliere(Rome 1926-Milan 1998) was a protagonist of Italian sculpture in the second half of the twentieth century. He conducted an intense reflection on the theme of nature, sculpting a forest of trees, bushes, fruits, roots, branches, in a series of works inspired by the “De rerum natura” didactic poem by Lucretius and the naturalism of the theologian Campanella in which Art Nouveau inspirations meld with surrealistic, Dadaist and pop influences.
