The Aquarium of Milan, visited by more than 100.000 tourists a year, conveys the charm and elegance of Art Deco as well as the modernity and freshness deriving from more recent architectural traits.

The Aquarium is indeed located in a beautiful building in Art Deco style that tells everyone observing it about its content. The building dates back to 1906 and was renovated in 2006. It contains fish tanks representing all water environments, from mountain sources to the sea.

The building lays by the Arena Civica at the margins of Parco Sempione, which is recalled in the elliptical form of the architecture.
