Mercato Centrale Milano - project signed by Umberto Montano, restaurant entrepreneur, in collaboration with the Human Company group, leader in Italy in the sector
of outdoor tourism – opens in 2021, following the successful experiences of Florence (2014), Rome (2016) and Turin (2019), confirming a formula made of artisanship, territory and cultural collaborations. Located on the west side of the Central Station, Mercato Centrale Milano is much more than a place to eat and shop, it represents a destination for the city where food and culture meet, in a calendar full of events and partnerships. The project, in addition to being a place dedicated to good food, is an integral part of the important redevelopment work of the entire urban area outside the Central Station that the Municipality of Milan has developed in collaboration with Grandi Stazioni Retail and Ferrovie dello Stato . The structure, of over 4,000 m2 and spread over two floors with 200 m2 of dehors, hosts over 30 artisans of taste with the best gastronomic offer of the local and national territory, a radio laboratory, a cooking school and a pizzeria.
